Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a vibrational characteristic by holding an optical head chassis on a substrate pivoted with a casing through a damper means and providing a turntable on this optical head chassis.
SOLUTION: The optical head chassis 18 is supported on the substrate 15 pivoted rotatably by a shaft 16 on the bottom surface of the casing 1 through three pieces of dampers 17 made of rubber. The turntable 21 and an optical pickup 19 moved in the direction of the arrow A by a feed screw are integrated into the optical head chassis 18. Information recorded on a rotatively driven optical disk is read by the integrated optical pickup 19. Since the structure interposing the damper 17 between the pivoted point 16 of this substrate 15 and the turntable 21 is adopted, a length of an arm of cantilever support mechanism becomes short substantially, and such phenomena are eliminated that the turntable and the optical pickup are vibrated large due to the vibration applied from the outside to cause a sound skip.
