PURPOSE: To provide a disk clamping device for a disk reproducing device which facilitate an assembly work, is thin, has high accuracy and uses a smaller number of parts in the disk clamping device for disk reproducing device by adopting the constitution using no clamper and no adhering system.

CONSTITUTION: A disk 17 placed on a turntable 26 is held by utilizing steel balls 36 and the elasticity of an O-ring 35 consisting of a rubber member, by which the number of the parts is reduced and the pawl parts of a piece holder 38 are held by the turntable 26. As a result, a spacer 34, the O-ring 35, the steel balls 36, and a case 37 are assembled into the turntable 26 without utilizing the adhering system and, therefore, the disk clamping device for the disk reproducing device which facilitates the assembly work, is thin, has the high accuracy and uses the smaller number of the parts is realized.
