Title:
DISK DRIVE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3417088
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To decrease the number of parts by extending one end of a printed circuit board from a disk enclosure in projecting state and mounting connectors orthogonally with the surface of the extended printed circuit board.
CONSTITUTION: The three connectors 54a, 54b, 55 are mounted in the surface projecting from the disk enclosure 51 of the printed circuit board 53 in a direction where the connecting direction of the connectors intersects orthogonally with the printed circuit board. After the disk enclosure 51 is assembled, a main frame 52 is screwed to the disk enclosure 51 via a vibration-isolating material and thereafter, the printed circuit board 53 is screwed to the base of the disk enclosure 51. Finally, auxiliary frames 61a, 61b are mounted at the frame 52 in such a manner that their supporting parts 611a, 611b support a part of the printed circuit board 53. Mounting of the frame 61a is executed by its mounting holes 613a and screw holes 521a and screws 56a on the frame 52 side. Mounting of the frame 61b is executed similarly.
