Abstract:

PURPOSE: To adopt a dynamic pressure fluid bearing mechanism for a device by solving such two problems of single plane facing type thrust bearing that a rotor position is not stabilized and being apt to rise, and a rotor is fallen off when excessive acceleration is applied.
CONSTITUTION: A single plane facing type mechanism is used for a thrust bearing of a motor of a device, and a means using magnetic sucking force is provided for stabilizing a rotor position concerning a first problem. Various means providing members fixing the rotor contacting with the rotor physically are provided for restricting quantity of moving of the rotor concerning a second problem. Then, the thrust bearing mechanism can be formed by using the single plane facing type thrust bearing having simple constitution, and such merits as low occupied height, simple structure, low manufacturing cost, low power consumption and the like can be given. Especially, a feature of low occupied height is extremely advantageous for adopting the dynamic fluid bearing to a thin type device.
