Abstract:

To provide a display device for appropriately displaying an operation guide, while having operation switches to which the indications of patterns prepared by each operation mode are assigned.

A display device includes: an operation mode setting part for effectively setting one of multiple operation modes; multiple operation switches to which respectively different indications are assigned, based on patterns prepared by each operation mode; and a guide display part for displaying an operation guide which indicates what kind of indication is assigned. The display device operates in accordance with the operation mode which is currently effectively set, and also operates in accordance with the indication assigned to the operation switch when the operation switch is operated. The guide display part prepares the multiple operation guides to correspond to the respective patterns and displays the operation guide among the respective operation guides, which corresponds to the pattern currently used for the assignment of the indication to the operation switch.
