Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which displays images at an easily viewable position and achieves good display under an outside light environment.SOLUTION: A display device 100 includes: a display part 10 for displaying vehicle information; and a translucent plate 20 which enables the information displayed by the display part 10 to penetrate therethrough to be visually checked by an occupant. The translucent plate 20 is erected from a dashboard 4 of a vehicle and positioned between the dashboard 4 and a windshield 5 of the vehicle. The display part 10 is fixed to the translucent plate 20 at a position separated from the dashboard 4 to make an area of the translucent part 20 which is located between the display part 10 and the dashboard 4 into a see-through area R which enables the occupant to see external view through the windshield 5. The display part 10 and the translucent plate 20 are provided inclining to the user 2 side with respect to an upper surface of the dashboard 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
