Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an "on-vehicle display device" capable of cooling the heat of a heating part built into a display body with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: An extension wall 16 made of a highly heat conductive material is projected from the rear surface of a movable case 13 constituting a display body 3, and a backlash removing gear 12 rotated by the power of a motor 6 is engaged with a main rack 17 and a sub-rack 18 created in the extension wall 16 to enable the display body 3 to move between a standing posture and a laid-down posture. The main rack 17 and the sub-rack 18 have many heat radiation grooves 17a and 18a notched inside from a bottom land. As these heat radiation grooves 17a and 18a enlarge a heat sink sectional area, the heat of a heating part 15 built in the movable case 13 is conducted through the extension wall 16 to be discharged outside from the heat sink part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
