PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display method and device of a heat retention time capable of displaying the lapse of time after extraction. SOLUTION: This display method includes a drip time setting step of predetermining a time when liquid in a chamber finishes to drip after an extraction signal is put off and storing it as a set value; a display step, when a time elapses till the set value, displaying to finish the extraction on a display part; and a display step of displaying the lapse of time after finishing the extraction as a heat retention time. Sequentially thereto, this method includes a thermos detecting step of determining whether or not a thermos is positioned right under an extraction chamber of the drink extractor, a step of, if the answer is YES, determining the lapse of the set retention time, and a step of, if it is NO, deleting the display of the retention time.
