Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compactly mount the unit without leaking emitted light to an adjacent lens and save the space by providing a lens formed by arranging a plurality of light guide members guiding light from a LED chip, partition plates preventing the light from the LED chip from leaking, a mask fixing the lens, and a cover covering the lens.
SOLUTION: This display unit 1 is provided with a lens taking light emitted from a LED on a printed circuit board in the incidental face and irradiating it from the objective face. It is further composed of a mask 12 fixing the objective face of the lens 11, a display face plate 13 in which fixed letters are drawn out from the position corresponding to the objective face of the lens 11, it display the fixed letters, partition plates 14 partitioning the gap of the respective incidental faces of the lens 11 and intercepting light from the LED chip, and a cover 15 involving the lens 11 fixed by the mask 12. Hereby, the light of the LED chip does not leak to the other place, and hence space saving is attained.
