Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable optimum correction based on minimum correction coefficient data by a method wherein a correction coefficient of thinning except from the predetermination is corrected by the predetermined thinning data.

CONSTITUTION: A d/a convertor 17 converts a digital value to an analog value. A video amplifier 18 amplifies a video signal to apply a charging signal to a charging digital section 20. A nozzle 19 ejects a charged ink and an excitation signal amplified by an excitation amplifier 27 is applied so that ink drops that are flying in a static field formed by deflection electrodes 21, 22 and a high voltage source 23 are deflected during the flying. Non-used drops are collected by a gutter 24 and recycled. A section pia 28 works as an interface to an external device. A print start sensor 29 outputs a print start command to an ink jet printer. Various kinds of data are set by an input/output terminal 30 and the printing is performed when a printing medium 26 is transferred to the direction of the arrow.
