Abstract:
To estimate the cause of failure in a distributed system composed of a plurality of distributed devices.SOLUTION: A distributed system is composed of a plurality of distributed devices that can communicate via communication paths. Each of the distributed devices includes: a communication port that receives communication signals from other distributed devices; a storage unit that stores device information indicating characteristics of the distributed system; and an inspection unit that detects a communication error based on the communication signal, indicates the communication error, compares communication error information including the time of occurrence of the communication error, the type of the communication error, and the location where the communication error was detected with the device information, and estimates the cause of the communication error.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
