Abstract:

To provide a dithienobenzodithiophene derivative enabling development to an electronic material such as an organic semiconductor material, a solution for drop-casting film production of an organic material imparting high carrier mobility, and an organic semiconductor layer using the same.

A dithienobenzodithiophene derivative, which is a compound represented by general formula (1), shows one or more peaks based on liquid crystalline phase transition in the range of ≤200°C under a measuring condition at the temperature-raising rate of 5°C/min by a differential scanning calorimeter. (In the formula, each R1 independently shows a hydrogen atom or a 1-20C alkyl group, and each R2 independently shows a hydrogen atom, a 1-20C alkyl group, an aromatic substituent or a thiophene substituent, and at least one R2 is an aromatic substituent or a thiophene substituent).
