Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a dot removal method in pixel array printing capable of removing ink stuck to a high density area without raising a cost. CONSTITUTION: The elimination chart of pixels to be eliminated within an image plane including a first pixel provided with the four adjacent pixels is generated in a step s10, the first pixel is selected in the step s11 and whether or not the selected first pixel is an elimination candidate is judged by using the elimination chart in the step s12. Whether or not the first pixel is the pixel positioned at an edge is judged in the step s14, and when it is judged that the first pixel is the elimination candidate and is not the pixel positioned at the edge in the step s16, the first pixel is eliminated in the step s18.
