Abstract:
PURPOSE: To stably hold a work having different holding diameters on the surface and the rear by indexing a surface machining chuck and a rear machining chuck in Z axis direction and X axis direction, and inverting and delivering the work held by the chuck indexed in the X axis direction by an inverting device, utilizing the X axis movement of a saddle.
CONSTITUTION: When the machining of the front and side faces of the surface side is completed, indexing of a circular table bed 10 is performed so that the rotary shaft center of a circular table 8 is in the X axis direction and a work W is directed to the side of an inverting device 11, and the work W is inserted into a holding claw opened due to the movement of a saddle 7 on the side of X axis direction inverting device. When the holding claw is closed to hold the center part of the work, a clutch 9A is opened for the work to be delivered to the inverting device. After the saddle 7 is moved slightly to the side of X axis direction inverting device to separate from the work, the circular table bed 10 is turned through 180 degrees to index a rear face machining chuck 9B to the inverting device side, and simultaneously the holding claw holding the work W is turned through 180 degrees by a rotary actuator 14.
