To provide a drinking vessel which allows the user to readily drink tea contained therein.

The drinking vessel is formed of a cup body and a lid body for hermetically sealing an upper opening of the cup body. The lid body has a tea leaf containing section on a lower side thereof, the leaf containing section has a plurality of bores formed therein. Further the lid body has a pouring port from which potable water is poured into the containing portion, and the pouring port is blocked with a detachable cover which can block the pouring port again after detachment thereof from the pouring port.
