Abstract:
To set the warranty terms of peripheral equipment more accurately and manage them more properly.
A user registration receiving page as a Web page for receiving user registration is delivered to a client computer (S100), and the client computer is instructed to transmit the installation date of a driver program and the serial number of a printer stored in the client computer (S110). Information input via the user registration receiving page is registered on a user registration database and transmitted information including the installation date is registered on a warranty term management database (S120). As a result, the warranty terms of the peripheral equipment can be set more accurately and managed more properly.
