A support program 23 is installed in a computer 20, which comprises a plurality of execution modules (including a greeting card creating modules 26a) for actualizing the use of the peripheral equipment including a printer 28 interactively with an operator, a usage method selecting module 24 for allowing the operator to select which usage method is executed and to execute the corresponding execution module, and an adding/updating module 25 for adding/updating the execution module downloaded from a support server 40 connected via Internet 30. When an execution program is executed, support data including a template usable for the selected usage method is downloaded from the support server 40 to actualize the usage method. As a result, more multilateral use of the peripheral equipment connected to the computer 20 is easily actualized.
