Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely drive a drive cord even when relatively large driving force or a relatively high temperature comes up.
SOLUTION: This driver is provided with a pinion 15 driven by a drive motor 19, a drive cord 12 having a rack for meshing with the pinion 15, and a telescopic pole attached to one end of the drive cord 12. The drive cord 12 is composed of a slender cord main body 33 made of a synthetic resin, and a core wire 34 penetrated into an axial hole of the cord main body 33. A presser member 21 for pressing the drive cord 12 not to be separated from the pinion 15 is provided in a housing 11. The presser member 21 is formed into a substantially L-shaped form using a metal material more excellent in abrasion resistance than that of the housing 11, a shaft 16 of the pinion 15 is engaged with an axial hole 21a of a vertical part 21b in the presser member 11, and a horizontal part 21c is brought into contact with the drive cord 12 from the opposite side of the pinion 15.
