Abstract:
To form a storing space for a drive cord in a bumper narrow and without large limitation on the internal structure of the bumper.
A drive cord 7 is formed by spirally winding a cord base material round a cord base material 11. Covering materials of both cord base materials 11, 12 are fixed to each other and a spiral tooth is provided on the outer peripheral part of the drive cord 7. The end part of the drive cord 7 on the opposite side to a corner pole 3 is bent U-shaped outside a case 2 to fix the forward end to the case 2. A driving pinion 6 is adapted to mesh with the tooth. The core wire of the cord base material 11 is connected to a lamp of the forward end part of the corner pole.
