A liquid crystal TV set as a display device 20 is mounted on the reverse side of the open/close cover 6 of a storage box 1, and a channel 22 and a volume control 21 for adjusting sound volume are arranged on the device 20. In this case, the display device 20 is mounted so as to be capable of being watched, when the cover 6 is opened. Also, the cover 6 is closed, when the display device 20 does not need to be watched, and kept flush with the upper surface of the storage box 1 for use as a table. As a result, the display device 20, when not used, is housed in the storage box 1 so as not to be a hindrance, thereby allowing vehicular cabin space to be used effectively.
