Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving fastener which can be easily manufacture, does not produce loss of material, and is reliably split so as to obtain a substantial pull-out strength.
SOLUTION: In a driving fastener which comprises two shank bodies 22 and 23 which are a semi-circular cylindrical shape in cross section, one shank body 22 having a projecting part 24 at the tip part, and both shank bodies 22 and 23 being bounded by a washer 27, so that a head part 25 side of its other end slips under a head part 26 side of the other shank body 23, the projecting part 24 of one shank body 22 is press molded in such a way as it has a width smaller than the flat face width of the shank body 23 and a thickness larger than that of the shank body 22, material loss is eliminated, the projecting part 24 is not pulled back when driving the other shaft body 23, and a reliable split is obtained.
