PURPOSE: To offer a camera having the drop-in loading mechanism simple in structure compared with a conventional similar type camera.

CONSTITUTION: The camera has a strong point as follows; a slit-like film inserting port is provided on the bottom surface of the camera, and a part of the width of a slit having the almost same width is narrowed in the vicinity of a spool room. In such a camera, for narrowing the width of the slit 11 around the spool room just opposite to the cartridge room of the slit 11 for inserting a film 26, a projecting part 10a is provided on a part of a main body 10, and the film is made slightly hard for passing. Therefore, the top end part of the film 26 is positively delayed, and the film 26 is obliquely inserted with respect to the end surface of an aperture.
