To provide a droplet discharge head and a droplet discharge device which can reduce power consumption and cost.
The droplet discharge head 2 of this invention is configured so that when one of a main piezoelectric element 51 and a sub piezoelectric element 52 is extended, the other contracts. When an oscillation plate 41 is displaced, the volume of a container chamber 31 is changed, thereby discharging droplets of a liquid material from a nozzle 32. Each of the main piezoelectric element 51 and the sub piezoelectric element 52 has at least one piezoelectric layer having piezoelectricity and at least a pair of electrode layers sandwiching the piezoelectric layer. The piezoelectric layer and the electrode layers are alternately stacked in the thickness direction of the oscillation plate 41. The polarization direction of an odd-numbered piezoelectric layer when counted from the container chamber 31 side in the main piezoelectric element 51 is in the opposite direction of the polarization direction of the odd-numbered piezoelectric layer when counted from the container chamber 31 side in the sub piezoelectric element 52.
