Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the required amount of a cleaning liquid and uniformly spray the cleaning liquid by providing spray nozzles for spraying the cleaning liquid on a laundry lifting blades situated inside a laundry container drum.
CONSTITUTION: A drum 23 is rotated after laundry is put in it. Thereby, the laundry is agitated and tumbled by laundry lifting blades 39. At this time, a cleaning liquid in a cleaning liquid storage tank 24 is fed into a transfer tank 41 full. When the tank 41 is filled with the cleaning liquid, the cleaning liquid is uniformly sprayed over the laundry in the drum 23 from spray nozzles 25 of the laundry lifting blades 39. The spray pressure is controlled by a pressure controller 56 corresponding to the sort of the laundry and the degree of contamination to prevent the fabric of the laundry from being damaged.
