Abstract:
PURPOSE: To carry out rough machining or semifinishing of a work by using dry media.
CONSTITUTION: In the dry barrel polishing method, dry media consisting of an inorganic abrasive stone or plastic media and a mixture of a vegetable fiber and an oily-fatty lubricant, and a work are put into a polishing basin, and the polishing of the work is achieved by implementing the relative movement between the dry media and the work. The dry media are the mixture of the inorganic abrasive stone or the plastic media and the vegetable fiber and the oily-fatty lubricant.
