Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye excellent in print density, moisture resistance, ozone resistance and especially suitable for inkjet recording, an ink composition containing the dye, a recording method using the ink composition and a colored body colored by the dye or the ink composition.SOLUTION: There is provided a dye represented by the following formula or a salt thereof, or an admixture thereof. (In the formula, n represents an integer of 0 to 5, R, Rand Rrepresent each independently a hydrogen atom and the like, X represents an alkylthio group having at least one ionic hydrophilic group or an arylthio group that may have a substituent, but excluding one having X of an alkylthio group having a carboxyl group as at least one ionic hydrophilic group.)
