Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system dynamically reconstructing multifunctional network devices based on demands for specified functional capacities of the multifunctional network devices.
SOLUTION: This system control a plurality of multifunctional network devices. Each of the multifunctional devices is provided with a plurality of hardware resources including a storage memory storing a plurality of function modules, a program memory used by the function modules, and a processor executing each of the function modules. This system detects a reconstruction event for one of the plurality of multifunctional network devices, and transmits a reconstruction command to one multifunctional network device. The reconstruction command is an eraser command erasing, at least, a single function module, or a redistribution command for redistributing, at least, a single quantity of the hardware resources usable by each of the plurality of function modules. This system is characterized in receiving the confirmation that the single multifunction network device is reconstructed based on the reconstruction command.
