Abstract:

PURPOSE: To perform machine in a condition of small electrode consumption in finish machining of intermediate machining or more, by combining a voltage pulse of electrode low consumption condition with a voltage pulse of electrode consumption condition by prescribed ratio smaller than an electrode consumption voltage pulse, and applying to a machining gap to perform the machining.
CONSTITUTION: In the case that a voltage or discharge pulse number is set to '5' in an electrode consumption voltage pulse number setting device 13 and in the case that a voltage or discharge pulse number is set to '2' in an electrode low consumption voltage pulse number setting device 14, information of an electrode consumption voltage pulse condition, stored in an electrode consumption voltage pulse condition setting device 6, is supplied to a gate pulse generating device 8 and to a discharge current amplitude setting device 11 through logical gates 9A, 9B, 9C to be set by a signal from a mixing ratio control device 12. How many number of voltage pulses of this setting condition continuously repeatedly supplied to a machining gap is set in this number by setting a discharge pulse number counter 16, and electric discharge machining is started by switching on a switch element part 4.
