PURPOSE: To simplify a manufacturing process, and make the leading-out direction of leads various, by constituting a capacitor by using an electric double layer capacitor element lamination body, electrode plates with leads arranged on two different polarity surfaces of the lamination body, and sheath resin.
CONSTITUTION: The title device is constituted of the following, an electric double layer capacitor element lamination body 1, electrode plates 17a, 17b with leads aranged on two different polarity surfaces of the electric double layer capacitor element lamination body 1, and sheath resin 20 which covers the electric double layer capacitor element lamination body 1 and the electrode plates 17a, 17b with leads, and retains them while applying specified pressure. Hence the parts necessary for assembling are only three, i.e., the electrode plates 17a, 17b with leads, and the resin 20 for sheathing. Thereby the manufacturing process can be simplified, and the leading-out directions of the leads 16a, 16b can be made various.
