Abstract:
In a drive for railway vehicles and guided vehicles the cooling of the drive motor (8) is to be improved. To this end, there is an electromagnetic revolution speed limiting and regulating device (5-7) between the motor shaft (3) and the fan wheel (1) which limits the required quantity of cooling air as the motor speed increases above that of the fan wheel, in which the fan wheel speed can be reduced in relation to the motor speed from a predeterminable motor speed.
