Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor that is able to improve motor performance effectively.SOLUTION: An electric motor comprises: a stator 8 having a plurality of teeth 22 around which a coil 24 is wound; and a rotor 9. The rotor 9 has: a rotary shaft 31; a cylindrical rotor core 32 fixed to the rotary shaft 31; and a plurality of permanent magnets 33 arranged in a radial direction of the rotor core 32 and circumferentially and radially. Each permanent magnet 33 is formed in a trapezoidal shape such that a cross-sectional shape orthogonal to the rotation shaft 31 gradually increases in circumferential width toward inside in the radial direction. Axially extending groove parts 119 are formed in the outer peripheral surface of the core 32 and on both circumferential sides of the outer end of each magnet 33 in the radial direction. The circumferential length L1 between the circumferential center of two groove parts 119 formed between circumferentially adjacent permanent magnets 33 is set longer than the circumferential length L2 of the inner peripheral surface of the flange part 102 of teeth 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
