Abstract:
To provide an electric power steering device capable of avoiding functional disorder of an electric motor when a rotating position detection sensor of the electric motor causes functional loss.
This electric power steering device 10 drives the electric motor 20 by using a detection result of the other rotating position detection sensor 62 when one 61 of the rotating position detection sensors is abnormal by providing a plurality of the rotating position detection sensors 61, 62 on the electric motor 20.
