Abstract:
To provide an electric tricycle capable of achieving as stable braking as possible without dependence on an occupant's sense.SOLUTION: An electric tricycle 11 comprises: a first electric machine 52 that imparts a driving force to a left wheel 12a around a first axis Xff in accordance with supply of electric power and that imparts a braking force to the left wheel 12a during electric power generation; a second electric machine 54 that imparts the driving force to a right wheel 12b around a second axis Xfs in accordance with the supply of the electric power and that imparts the braking force to the right wheel 12b during the electric power generation; and a controller 57 that generates a control signal for exerting initial braking of a first braking force on the left wheel 12a and the right wheel 12b by the first and second electric machines 52 and 54 and exerting secondary braking of a second braking force smaller than the first braking force following the initial braking by the first and second electric machines 52 and 54, when an operation of a brake lever 28 is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
