Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assist to meet a user's preference without increasing the number of times of operation to select a vehicle speed when moving an electrically power assisted bicycle by pushing without riding the electrically power assisted bicycle.SOLUTION: An electrically power assisted bicycle 1 includes: an electric motor 61; a vehicle speed detection part 95 for detecting a vehicle speed; a first state determination part 151 for determining whether or not the electrically power assisted bicycle 1 is in a first state where a vehicle speed is generated without depending on a pedaling force; an operation part 190; a vehicle speed setting part 155 for setting a detection result of the vehicle speed detection part 95 at the time when an operation signal is inputted as a first vehicle speed, when the electrically power assisted bicycle 1 is determined to be in the first state and an operation signal is inputted from the operation part 190; and a motor control part 105 for controlling the drive of the electric motor 61 so as to maintain the first vehicle speed after the operation signal is inputted, when the electrically power assisted bicycle 1 is determined to be in the first state and the operation signal is inputted from the operation part 190.
