Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contribute to the improvement of rigidity against input from a suspension.SOLUTION: At a suspension tower 10, when upward input from a suspension 18 is applied to a suspension attachment part 52, the suspension attachment part 52 and parts around the suspension attachment part are deformed so as to protrude upward of a vehicle, making a suspension attachment hole 54 an apex. At that time, a pair of ribs 50A adjacent to each other across the suspension attachment part 52 are deformed so as to be spaced apart from each other. Consequently, a rib connection part 49 of a protrusion part 48 is pulled so as to be stretched in the separation direction. The rib connection part 49 of this suspension tower 10 according to an embodiment of the present invention has an overhanging part 56 overhanging from the protrusion part 48 toward a shaft hole 46. The overhanging part 56 can prevent the deformation of the rib connection part 49, thus contributing to the improvement of rigidity against input from the suspension 18.
