PURPOSE: To increase the number of electrodes without narrowing a pitch between the electrodes by forming the electrodes by plural trains and constituting so that its plural trains are provided in parallel.

CONSTITUTION: A display part 2 in which a lot of liquid crystal display units are sealed is provided on the center part of a liquid crystal display plate 1, and also an electrode train formed by arranging plural electrodes 3 at a prescribed pitch and other electrode train formed by arranging plural electrodes 3a at a prescribed pitch in the same way are arranged in parallel to each other and provided on the side part. A train of electrodes 7 arranged like a train at a prescribed pitch in the same way as the liquid crystal display plate 1, and a train of the same electrodes 7a arranged in parallel to said electrode train are provided on the side part, too, of a control substrate 5. Plural trains are provided in parallel to each other on the display plate 1, therefore, the number of electrodes can be increased in large numbers even if a pitch between adjacent electrodes is held sufficiently.
