PURPOSE: To prevent malfunction due to external electromagnetic waves, or to attenuate and shield leakage electromagnetic wave power 1 by providing a panel with a plate-like member made from a wave absorber and an electromagnetic impermeable surface member bonded with the plate-like member.
CONSTITUTION: A panel 1 has a core material 6 as the plate-like member made of wave absorber sandwiched between a steel plate 2 as the conductive (wave impermeable) surface member and a veneer decorative plate 8, and the periphery 3 of the steel plate 2 bent inward along the periphery of the core material 6. The veneer decorative plate 8 is used as an electromagnetic permeable member, but a plastic material such as FRP and PCV can be used instead. This electromagnetic shield panel is arranged with the electromagnetic impermeable surface member turning outside the shield room, and the plate-like member made from wave absorber inside. This structure allows the shielding of external electromagnetic waves as well as the absorption/attenuation of electromagnetic waves emitted in the shield room.
