To provide an electromagnetic shielding material which is manufactured easily and responds to various shapes.
The electromagnetic shielding material 1 comprises a base material 20 formed from a PET sheet, a conductive covering material 40 formed of conductive fabric which is spread over the entire surface of the base material 20, and a thermal fusion material 50 which is formed of hotmelt and is located between the base material 20 and the conductive covering material 40. On one face of the base material 20, a groove 20a is formed along the longitudinal direction of the base material 20. While the thermal fusion material 50 melts by heating, the electromagnetic shielding material 1 is so bent that the groove 20a may become the ridge in mounting fold. With the electromagnetic shielding material 1 being kept in the bent state, the thermal fusion material 50 is cooled. Then, the base material 20 and the conductive covering material 40 are bonded to each other, and the groove 20a is reinforced by the thermal fusion material 50 melted into the groove 20a, thus obtaining the electromagnetic shielding material 1 fixed to a bent shape.
