To provide an electronic control suspension device which can secure the riding comfort and driving stability by computing a control command value for controlling a damping force of a damper by applying a nonlinear control gain for each signal outputted from a vertical acceleration sensor.
The electronic control suspension device is provided with a sensor part, a signal processing part, a control gain determining part, a part for computing a control command value, and a damper drive part. The sensor part extracts and provides a vertical acceleration component of a car body, and the signal processing part computes the vertical acceleration component provided by the sensor part, and computes the vertical speed of the car body. Then a control gain by an amplitude of the vertical acceleration component is set. After detecting the amplitude of the vertical acceleration component provided by the sensor part, the control gain determining part extracts the control gain corresponding to the amplitude of the vertical acceleration component. Then the part for computing the control command value computes the control command value by using the control gain provided by the control gain determining part and the vertical speed of the car body provided by the signal processing part. Then the damper drive part drives the variable damper based on the control command value.
