Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve drive feeling even in circular turning traveling by detecting the car height at the right and left and putting a suspension into hard state even if a chassis acceleration speed becomes below a set value.

CONSTITUTION: A car-height sensor 22 consists of a front car-height sensor 22F and a rear car-height sensor 23R and supplies a signal into a control unit 25. An acceleration sensor 28 for detecting the change of posture of a chassis detects the change of posture of the chassis such as pitch roll and yaw, and supplies signals into the unit 25. A three-direction selector valve 36 selects the position relation between a pneumatic driving mechanism 35, reserve tank 20, and the atmosphere according to the signals supplied from the unit 25, and the transfer from soft state to hard state is performed. When the chassis acceleration speed becomes over a set value, the suspension is put into hard, and a car is put into circular turning traveling, and the hard state of the suspension is kept, even if the chassis acceleration speed becomes over the set value.
