PURPOSE: Prevent the speed of adjusting of the vehicle level from varying upon changing of the vehicle level, and as well to make it possible to increase the vehicle level upon stopping of the engine, by providing such an arrangement that the vehicle level is increased with the use of a pump means upon running of the engine so that no accumulator is used.
CONSTITUTION: In the case of that the vehicle level is adjusted to be increased in such a condition that a pump 26 is operated, an electronic control device 67, in accordance with the manipulation of a vehicle level adjusting switch 72, closes a shut-off valve 42 while opens a shut-off valve 65, and sets solenoid valves 43 through 45 to their second position so that pressure oil from the pump 26 is fed under pressure to actuators 2 through 5. Therefore, hydraulic pressure in an accumulator 38 is not dissipated so that it may be held under high pressure. Therefore, upon stopping of the pump 26 the electronic control device 67 opens the shut-off valve 65, and changes over the solenoid selector valves 43 through 45 so that hydraulic pressure in the accumulator 38 is used to increase the vehicle level. With this arrangement variation of the speed of adjusting of the vehicle level may be eliminated, and the vehicle level may be increased even upon stopping of the engine.
