Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to exchange electronic money(EM) with normal cash and to allow the EM to be generally accepted by sending certificate data including an identification (ID) tag of a transaction money module(MM) and a new disclosed key from the transaction MM to a certification agency and sending an updated certificate including the certificate data from the certification agency to the transaction MM. SOLUTION: A transaction MM 4 is connected to a network at first, sends a certifiate of which validity has elapsed to a certification agency 28. The certificate of which validity has elapsed prevents the MM 4 from executing a transaction with another transaction MM 4. The agency 28 sends a defective module ID tag list to the MM 4, which prepares a pair of a new disclosed key and a privacy key. Then the MM 4 sends certificate data including the ID tag and the new disclosed key to the agency 28, which sends a certificate updated by digitally signing the updated certificate including the certificate data to the MM 4 and sends to the module 5 also to a teller money module 5 to set up a cession.
