Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to exchange electronic money(EM) with normal cash and to allow the EM to be generally accepted by transferring an electronic symbol(ES) of updated currency from a teller money module(MM) to a transac tion MM through a 1st cryptogrammic security cession. SOLUTION: An ES of currency having an expiration date and stored in a tranaction MM 4 is updated by an ES of updated currency. In a computer controlled accounting system installed in an issue bank 1, a 1st amount is entered to the credit of a money issue account and a money generator MM 6 generates an ES of updated currency having a new expiration date. The ES of the updated currency is transferred from the MM 6 to a teller MM 5 through a 2nd cryptogrammic security cession. Then the ES of the updated currency is transferred from the MM 5 to the MM 4 through a 1st cryptogrammic security cession.
