Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic lithographic printing plate-loading means and a plate making device, capable of obtaining a stable image by preventing the unwanted electrification of electrophotographic lithographic printing plates, electrifica tion unevenness caused by the unwanted electrification and the electrostatic sticking of dust, at the time of feeding the loaded electrophotographic lithographic printing plates.
SOLUTION: The plate making device 10 houses the loading means 14 which is loaded with a large number of sheet-like electrophotographic lithographic printing plates 2 constituted to provide photoconductive layers on metallic substrates and has the plate making processing of the loaded lithographic printing plates 2. In such a case, a conductive means coming into contact with at least the side surface parts of the lithographic printing plates 2 loaded in the loading means 14 housed in the plate making device 10 is provided and connected to a ground 9 installed in the plate making device 10. Further, the plate making device 10 is provided with an electric conductor coming into contact with at least the side surface parts of the loaded lithographic printing plates 2 and the conductive means which can be connected from the conductor to the ground 9 installed in the plate making device 10 housing the loading means 1.
