To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor wherein wear difference between an image part and a non-image part is reduced without depending on the release rate of metal oxide particles in a toner, and filming is suppressed.
The electrophotographic photoreceptor includes a conductive substrate and a photosensitive layer formed on a surface of the conductive substrate, wherein an outermost surface layer of the photosensitive layer comprises a crosslinked product using at least one selected from a guanamine compound and a melamine compound, and a charge transport material having at least one substituent selected from -OH, -OCH3, -NH2, -SH and -COOH, and the content of the charge transport material in the outermost surface layer is 80 mass%, and the surface of the photosensitive layer has a universal hardness of 150-220 N/mm2 and an elastic deformation rate of 45-65%.
