To provide an image forming toner ensuring low temperature fixability and a fixing temperature range, excellent in hot preservability, biochemical safety, environmental stability, stability of electrostatic charge and pulverizability, free of resin curing by crosslinking reactions of an amine dye or pigment and amine compounds contained in an antistatic agent, etc., with epoxy groups in a toner binder resin and not causing image shift to a vinyl chloride resin sheet and to provide an image forming method using the toner and an image forming apparatus.
In the image forming black toner containing at least a colorant, a release agent and a binder resin, the binder resin comprises a polyester resin and a polyol resin which are incompatible with each other and have a island-in sea type phase separated structure.
