Concerning the solid electrolytic capacitor anode element which is molded by pressing valve-action metal powder that contains a solid binder; the solid electrolytic capacitor anode element and its manufacturing method are characterized by the fact that the solid binder is thermo-fusible material, and that a molding die is heated up to the melting point of the solid binder or above when the thermo-fusible material and the valve action metal powder are molded by pressing. The thermo-fusible material as the solid binder is characterized by the fact that it is a stearic acid or a palmitic acid.
