Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device that is able to immediately detect smoke flowing in from a higher position of a car stop, by using a photoelectric sensor of reflection type installed on the car side.SOLUTION: An elevator device comprises: a photoelectric sensor installed above a car door and configured to measure a quantity of light emitted and reflected; a reflecting plate provided on a surface opposite to the car door of a landing door and configured such that light emitted from the photoelectric sensor with the car door and the landing door closed is reflected to a predetermined position between a position above the car door and a position above the landing door; and guide means provided in a predetermine position and configured to guide gas flowing in via a gap above the landing door from a car stop, and having a reflecting surface that receives, via gas, light reflected by the reflecting plate and reflects the light toward the reflecting plate. The presence or absence of smoke flowing into a predetermined place is detected from a change in a quantity of light reflected by a reflecting plate after emitted from the photoelectric sensor after the car has reached a car stop.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
