Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator in which work is performed easily while securing safety at maintenance or inspection work.SOLUTION: The elevator comprises: a cage; a guide part which guides lifting and lowering of the cage; and a movement regulation mechanism which includes an engaging part provided on the cage and an engaged part engaging with the engaging part. The engaged part includes: an engaging base which is supported on the guide part; a through-hole which is formed on the engaging base and penetrates in a cross direction intersecting with a lifting direction of the cage; and an adjustment part which regulates movement of the engaging part. The engaging part moves along the cross direction and is capable of being set to the state of being inserted into the through-hole and the state of being out of the through-hole. The adjustment part covers an upper part of the through-hole and is supported on the engaging base so as to be movable to a position of contact with the engaging part which is inserted into the through-hole and a position of no contact with the engaging part which is inserted into the through-hole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
