Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catch detection device and an elevator, which can detect catching of a long object with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A catch detection device 10A comprises a rope support 13, an arm member 11, a support member 12, a pressing member 15 and a detection switch 14. The support member 12 rockably supports the arm member 11 in a lifting direction and moreover turnably supports the arm member 11 in a horizontal direction perpendicularly intersecting with the lifting direction. The pressing member 15 comprises a pressing part 45 which includes a recessed part 50 recessed on a substantially truncated cone shape in a direction oppositely separated from the detection switch 14. The detection switch 14 includes a substantially hemispherical button part 42 which is inserted into the recessed part 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
